Our Response to COVID-19

Greetings community,

We are aware of the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19 and the effects that may ensue. As these are precarious times, our heart goes out to those affected and those most vulnerable.

In an effort to play our part here at CalCenter, we are not continuing business as usual. It is of utmost importance to us to keep all our community members safe and healthy. We are working to find alternatives for our youth programming that takes place through early July, at this point. Our staff is also sheltering in place as we all work from home.

As of now, programming is held to a pause in compliance with the state's 'Shelter in Place' mandate and we'll keep you posted as this situation unfolds. As for the Roast event, we will likely not be holding it in May as usual. Please stay tuned on social media and keep a lookout for an update via email on the new date to be determined soon.

We hope all of you are taking care, as we all try to play our part to stop the spread of Covid-19. Below is a resource we found particularly helpful.

In solidarity,

CalCenter
